For an Apple and an Egg…

Posted By Patricia Ritsema van Eck On 17th November 2005 @ 05:13 In Marketing Strategies | No Comments

If you’ve been subscribed to my newsletter when I first started the site - I believe that was July - you will remember I had worked out a special report about how to manifest money out of thin electrons.

A case study based on a conference call that Mark Joyner did with Craig Perrine on June 28th.

Well, as it turned out, Mark asked me to take that report down…

Not that it wasn’t good or anything. Far from it. In fact he was so impressed when I showed him, he told me off for distributing all that valuable content for free.

That story grew a little tail which I’ll tell you more about soon…

What triggered me into writing you today, was an email I just got from Gary Ambrose. Gary and I met during the Fusion seminar in Miami last June. As it happens when you meet people in person, you kind of like to keep track of what they’re doing.

So I subscribed to his mailinglist and I must say, Gary has impressed me. He doesn’t write very often, but when he does he always grabs my full attention.

He’s a smart marketer. He carefully selects the products he promotes and because of this, you just know that on the rare occasions you receive an email, it’s worth your read.

Well, today he popped in with a solution for the dreaded holiday season…

I don’t know about you, but I’m not particularly looking forward to the coming weeks. I’ve reached a point where I make a nice buck on the side from my internet activities. It doesn’t pay the rent yet, but it’s a welcome extra.

However, when the X-mas frenzy hits the western nations, online sales just seem to drop dead…

It makes sense of course. Have you figured out a way yet to wrap an ebook in nice looking paper so you can put in under the Christmas tree?!

I haven’t. And Gary hasn’t either. BUT….

… he did figure out a way to finally make a profit these months. And he’s sharing this information with everyone for just an apple and an egg…

Is that a valid expression in English? We use it here in Holland to say that something costs virtually nothing. Us Dutch are famous for saving every nickel possible; our friendly neighbors at the south never cease to make fun of this.

Anyway, I had to get this information out to you really quick. Because as it turns out, it may very well be that as you read this the price has gone up to 2 apples and an egg…

Check it out. If anything, you’ll walk away with a valuable marketing lesson. And if you’re lucky, you can still lock in on a pretty insane deal for less than a buck.

(In fact, it only cost me *half a buck* to get my hands on his Christmas selling secrets…)
